What a mess?
I was only thinking of how to survive the hunger until I close in the evening and leave home.
You are wondering why I am working with my boss but I was going to starve till evening right?
Do you remember I said I'm very reticent and timid?
My definition of "Reticent" and "timid" can not be found in any dictionary. I am the type that won't ask you for help even if I need your help badly. Even if you see me suffering and you ask to help me, I will tell you I'm okay unless you decide to help whether I'm okay or not.
It is just recently that I have learned lessons that I am claiming that I have changed but back then, I was too bad for my liking.
That day after checking my pockets, all hopes were lost. I decided to go back to my work and continue with what I was doing on an empty stomach. My boss went out and left the shop for me because there was nothing to fix.
I felt like I was going to die hungry that day because I had nothing much to think about that day apart from my stomach. Then I started getting that feeling when hunger is killing you and you think you are feeling sleepy. So I decided to take a nap. You know a nap is not a snack.
I was sleeping but it felt like the whole world was screaming at me. I could even hear the drop of a pin.
After closing my eyes for like an hour, I felt that the bench was too small that was why I wasn't able to sleep so I doubled the bench but that one was even worse.
Few hours later my boss came in. From the look of my face, he could see that everything is not alright.
He asked: "Joe! have you eaten?"
Me: "No"
Boss: "I am here now so go and get something to eat before I go out again"
Me: "Okay! I will go and eat"
Then thirty minutes passed, I was still laying on the benches pretending to be sleeping. Then my boss tapped me and said I should wake up because he is going out. I sat down and looked as he went out.
Few minutes later, Somebody called my name in a very familiar tone and I could guess perfectly who she is.
I raised my head to look and I was 100% correct, it was her exactly like I imagined.
