Dede was just in because her father sent her to call my boss and like usual, that nervousness feeling came again immediately she came in.
Sellina, who on the other hand was already pissing me off asked Dede; " What are you doing here?"
Dede responded; "My Dada sent me to come and call his boss. What about you?"
Sellina;
"I prepared food for my husband so I came for the bowl."
I was so fumed with anger. I almost let it out but if I let it out, Dede will get to know the bad side of me and that might probably be game over for me.
Oh! You want to know why I was angry right?
First of all, I don't like people who do me a favor and make everybody know that they did something for me that is why I don't accept favors at all and second, Sellina was just blocking my chance of creating more impressions for Dede to start liking me.
I only opened my mouth once and told Dede that my boss is not around. The rest, I was quiet throughout. When Dede left, Sellina decided to continue her pointless talk. I didn't even respond to any of her words not to talk of looking at her face.
She realized I was angry then, she apologized but I didn't mind her so she left.
The next time I opened my mouth was when I told my boss that Dede's father wanted to see him. Then I closed my mouth till the day ended and I came home.
That is one bad side of me. When I am angry, I don't talk because everything that will come out of my mouth when I open it during those times, can collapse an entire building.
When I got home, I decided to tell Sellina my mind. When I call, I can't talk so I decided to put all in a text. Then I wrote the message like this.
"Sellina, I know you love me but please I don't love you. I don't like the way you are always calling me your husband. You are very beautiful and I like you but I am not ready to be your boyfriend. Please friendship or stay away from me."
Then I hit the send button. I confirmed that she received the message by reading the delivery report.
I felt like I was carrying the whole world on my head but after I saw the feed back that my message was delivered I felt that I have lost some weight.
Few minutes later, I saw an incoming call from Sellina and I ignored it. I was holding the phone but she called for 10 times and I didn't answer any.
The 11th time she called, I answered and went through the call like this;
Sellina; "Hello Joe!"
Me; "Talk"
Sellina;
"Joe! You know I love you and you don't love me. I also know that too but do you know something, I just don't like the way when I come to your shop, I see you so quiet and I always think there is something wrong with you but you don't have anybody to talk to. So I decided to come into your life not to hurt you but to be there for you. To be that person that you can talk to anytime you find yourself in any kind of situation.
I was once just like you so I know exactly how you feel.
Please if I have done something wrong somewhere, forgive me. Maybe I'm not going about it the right way, I will still like to be your friend. Your best friend for that matter."
She didn't finish talking then I hanged up the call.
