Then I remembered that I took the bowl from her again before giving her my phone to dial her number.
I looked inside my bag and the bowl was there.
I told her I can't return at that moment but I promise I will bring it back the following day.
Then I hanged up the call.
Few minutes later, I was home a bit tired but not too tired to stop thinking about my previous impressions and my next move.
I couldn't still stop thinking about her.
I took my bath and ate all around 7:30pm so I decided to take my phone and press small before going to bed.
Those days, there were no whatsapp phones but my phone had whatsapp on it with 5 whatsapp contacts out of my over 120 phone book contacts.
Whatsapp was no fun by then so I decided to go on Facebook.
Then I saw an SMS notification from Sellina. I clicked open and it reads "Hi, Are you asleep already?".
I wanted to ignore but I replied with; "about to sleep."
Then another text came; "Oh! Please its not late, I want you to text me."
I wanted to ignore and tell her the following day that I was asleep when the message came but the time interval was too short for such a big lie.
I replied; "I have texted you."
Then she sent another SMS; "I mean let us talk about something."
Then I replied; "Ok" and to God be the glory, the text didn't arrive because I wasn't having enough airtime.
I decided to go to bed since all my credit has been wasted chatting someone else. In bed, another text came but I couldn't reply. Then a call came from Sellina.
I went through the call like this;
Me; "Hellow! I'm out of airtime and I feel sleepy too so tomorrow. Ok!"
Sellina; "Ok, Have a good night and sleep tight."
Then I hanged up.
Few minutes later, another text came and I knew it will be an SMS from Sellina so I took my phone without looking, I pressed the silence key and the phone went to silent mode and I went to bed.
The following morning, I woke up as early as I can with nothing much on my mind. I took my bath, prepared breakfast myself and made sure I didn't repeat the mistake I made the day before.
I dressed up and ready for work. As picked up my bag, I remembered Sellina's bowl is inside so I unzipped the bag and there it is, inside the bag unwashed. I brought it out, washed it neatly, cleaned it and placed it back into the bag gently.
I didn't check time since I woke up but the weather was so clean enough to tell me that its around 7:00am.
I hopped into a taxi and decided to go through my phone to see what Sellina sent when I was about to go to bed. As I unlocked the screen of my phone, I saw three unread messages from Sellina with three missed calls.
I opened the first message to read and guess what she sent.
